We invite eligible South African participants to submit applications for selection to SANPAD’s Research Capacity Initiative (RCI) Programme.

The RCI Programme consists of approximately seven weeks of contact learning in social science research methodologies, offered at a doctoral level. 

The learning takes place in workshop/conference mode.  Students are brought to conference centres in Durban and Cape Town where the workshops are conducted by some of the best research methodologists available in the South Africa and the Netherlands.

The new RCI Programme will commence on the 4 September 2009 and run in punctuated residential modules until September 2010.
